our story

Indigo Life Media started as a side hustle in 2006, while Founder Andrew White was working full time as a real estate agent. After getting his first video camera at age 13, Andrew had developed a knack for finding compelling stories hidden in plain sight.

His first original web show, launched in 2008, was inspired by popular reality TV shows and documented the behind-the-scenes world of distressed property investing. The show’s raw subject matter and charismatic host earned Andrew an invitation to a pitch room at a national network. That’s when Andrew’s vision came into focus: he wanted to help small businesses build their brands by showcasing their personality and values with video marketing.

Lauren draws energy and purpose from serving her community, so it’s no surprise that she met Andrew White while volunteering. They led service projects alongside each other and later became partners in life and business in 2014.

Senior Editor Kameron Davis has been a cornerstone of our success since joining the team in 2013. Kameron brought a new level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence that has profoundly elevated our production quality and workflow. Kameron's unmatched technical skills and innovative editing have empowered us to take on increasingly ambitious projects. Even after moving to New York City, his dedication to our vision remains unwavering, helping to shape Indigo into a cutting-edge leader in video production.

Lauren now leads the team as CEO and majority owner, bringing precision and growth to the company. The trio of visual storytelling experts are backed by a roster of trusted and vetted freelance crew members who embody the ethos of Indigo—always eager to experiment, never afraid to be themselves, and driven to tell stories that matter.

Our portfolio includes more than a dozen original web series—a combination of playful experiments, purpose-driven campaigns, and passionate offerings to our community.

As a kid, Andrew wanted to become a history teacher. Decoding Dayton, which delved into the untold histories of local landmarks, gave him an opportunity to explore that passion and connect with other local history buffs. Voices Project, an original video series in partnership with a nationally-known recovery advocate, was born out of Lauren’s desire to redirect the media narrative around the opioid epidemic—a crisis that has touched their lives personally. The series gave a microphone to diverse individuals affected by addiction, resonating with millions of viewers and earning coverage in Forbes and Huffington Post.

Our local storytelling efforts have earned recognition from organizations like the American Red Cross, which honored us with the Community Mission Choice Award, and the Ohio Senate, which recognized us for our community service.

Today, Andrew’s original vision of hyperlocal reality TV has come full-circle as our company’s primary focus has shifted to entertainment marketing.

We see ourselves as more than a video production company. We're transforming how the world consumes content, partnering with bold brands to connect people, businesses, and causes through intentional video content.
